The total overseas assets of central enterprises have reached 7.6 trillion yuan
Peng Huagang, a spokesman for the state owned assets supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, said Thursday that in recent years, the central enterprises have made remarkable achievements in "going global". By the end of last year, the total overseas assets of the central enterprises were 7.6 trillion yuan, the operating revenue was 5.4 trillion yuan, and the profit was 131.89 billion yuan. He introduced the above situation in response to relevant questions at the press conference of the new China office on the 17th. At present, there are more than 11000 overseas units of central enterprises in 185 countries and regions around the world, he said. "Going global not only promotes the development of local economy and social employment, but also contributes to the mutual benefit and win-win, integrated development and common prosperity of China and the country where the project is located." Peng Huagang said. He stressed that the time of "going out" of China's central enterprises is not long, and there is still a gap between the ability of international operation and that of large international multinational companies. In the next step, we should pay more attention to learning and applying international rules, and constantly improve the ability of transnational management.
