Over 30 trillion US dollars of imported goods in the next 15 years
For the first time, this year's China International Fair set up a "high-end consumer goods zone", which provides an important platform and window for high-end consumer goods from all countries to enter China and meet people's pursuit of high-quality life. On November 7, the first "China Quality Life International Forum" was held in Shanghai with the theme of "sharing quality life in the new era". Participants analyzed the current situation and Prospect of China's consumer market, and discussed how to seize the opportunities of consumption upgrading and high-end consumer goods market. According to Wang Bingnan, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Commerce, the proportion of service consumption has increased significantly in recent years, and the consumption of quality, personalization and customization is accelerating. The innovation of consumption mode is accelerated, new consumption modes such as green, intelligent, sharing and customization are developing vigorously, and online and offline integration is continuing. It is worth noting that the expansion and acceleration of consumption import, especially after the Expo, the growth rate of import consumer goods has increased significantly. It is expected that in the next 15 years, China's imports of goods and services will exceed US $30 trillion and US $10 trillion respectively, and the supply of medium and high-end domestic consumption will be further optimized to better meet the needs of quality life. Zhang Zhigang, former president of China Business Federation and chairman of the Organizing Committee of the forum, said that high-quality development and high-quality life have become the inevitable choice for China's innovation driven and transformation development. Efforts to create Chinese brands, including Chinese high-end consumer goods brands, are important to promote consumption upgrading. Liu Bing, Vice Consul General of the Australian Consulate General in Shanghai, said that Australia is committed to providing high-quality products for the Chinese market and improving the quality of products with advanced technology by strengthening R & D and innovation. Skin care products, mother and baby products from Australia are welcomed by Chinese consumers. "In the future, Australia will continue to provide more trustworthy products to the Chinese market and improve the quality of life of Chinese consumers." Liu Bing said.
