Ministry of industry and information technology: more than 80% of counties
"China's County Industrial Economic Development Forum" was held in Beijing on the 13th. The reporter learned at the forum that the implementation of the national regional development strategy has effectively promoted the upgrading of the county industrial level. At present, the supporting role of county industry in the development of national industry is further strengthened. In his speech, he Yingkun, deputy director of the planning department of the Ministry of industry and information technology, said that the county plays an important role in China's economic and social development. At present, the county economy accounts for more than 40% of the gross national product, providing more than half of the jobs for the age-old population. In 2018, the number of counties and county-level cities with GDP exceeding 100 billion reached 30. In recent years, the supporting role of county industry in the development of national industry has been strengthened. "In 2018, the proportion of industrial added value of counties in the national industrial added value exceeded half of the country. In more than 200 counties and cities with industrial added value exceeding 10 billion yuan, more than 80% of the industrial growth rate of counties and cities exceeded the average growth rate of the national industry."
At the same time, industrial park has become an important carrier of county and city industry. "In recent years, the top 100 industrial counties have established more than 30 national new industrial demonstration bases, forming a number of industrial parks with distinctive characteristics and high development level." According to he Yingkun, the implementation of national regional development strategy has effectively promoted the improvement of county industrial level. "From 2012 to 2018, the number of top 100 industrial counties in regions implementing major regional strategies increased significantly, and the competitiveness index improved faster than other regions." On the same day's forum, China Academy of communications released the development report of China's top 100 industrial counties (cities) and top 100 industrial districts (2019). According to the report, in 2019, the top 100 industrial counties (cities) in China are mainly concentrated in the eastern provinces, with Jiangsu, Shandong and Zhejiang as the key areas and Jiangsu, Fujian and Zhejiang as the highlands. The main forces of different echelons are along the route of Jiangsu, Jiangsu, Shandong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shandong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Henan. The radiation range is gradually spread from east to west, from south to north, showing a pattern of "more East, less West, stronger South and weaker North" Bureau.
