Hubei: coal supply is tightening, and relevant enterprises need to improve

According to Hubei development and Reform Commission, on November 15, Hubei Energy Bureau held an analysis meeting on the situation of power coal dispatching and transportation in winter in the training center of Hubei development and Reform Commission, attended by Wuhan Railway Bureau, institutions of power generation groups in Hubei, power plants of unified dispatching and major coal sales and transportation enterprises. Hubei Provincial Energy Bureau pointed out that this year, the water supply in Hubei Province is generally dry, the power demand is strong, the power coal supply has always maintained a high level of operation, and the daily coal consumption has reached a record high of 210000 tons and the monthly coal consumption has reached a record high of 5 million tons. As of October 31, 46.03 million tons of electric coal had been transferred in, an increase of 8.956 million tons, or 24.2%, compared with the same period last year, and the inventory had reached 5 million tons.

With the coming of winter, the power coal transportation and supply guarantee will face the impact of uncertain factors such as the coal supply tightening, "sea to river" transportation capacity limitation, the increase of railway transportation pressure, rain, snow, freezing weather or other emergencies, which must be dealt with in advance. Wu Xinmin, deputy director of Hubei Provincial Energy Bureau, stressed that the current contradiction between tight power coal resources and heavy thermal power tasks in Hubei Province, and the provincial situation of "bottleneck" in the special period of power coal transportation have not been fundamentally changed. Relevant enterprises should guard against the idea of slack, implement the main responsibility of power supply guarantee, strengthen the safety monitoring of power coal operation, carefully organize transportation scheduling, ensure the fast connection and unloading of power coal, and effectively improve High power coal supply capacity. "Peak to winter" coincides with the end of the year. All enterprises should also sign contracts in combination with the annual coal medium and long-term contracts, and comprehensively plan the power and coal supply guarantee work next year. Each power generation group said that the "peak winter" work has a glorious mission and arduous task. It will make every effort to prepare for the war and improve the inventory, and practically plan, organize and implement the coal and electricity conservation work of the peak winter group, so as to ensure the people's livelihood and high-quality economic and social development of the province.
