The total output value of national forestry industry in 2019 is 7.56tn yuan
According to the latest release of the State Forestry and grassland administration, in 2019, the total output value of China's forestry industry reached 7.56 trillion yuan, and the import and export trade amounted to 160 billion US dollars, with remarkable achievements in industrial development and ecological poverty alleviation. In 2019, the national economic forest area is more than 600 million mu, and the construction of national forest health base has been carried out, with ecotourism breaking through 1.8 billion person times. In total, nearly one million ecological forest rangers have been selected, which has driven more than 3 million poor people to steadily increase their incomes or get rid of poverty. In 2020, the total output value of the forestry industry is planned to reach 8.1 trillion yuan, and the import and export trade volume is 160 billion US dollars.
