In December 2019, the ex factory price of industrial producers fell by 0.5%
In December 2019, the factory price of national industrial producers dropped 0.5% year-on-year and remained flat on a month on month basis; the purchase price of industrial producers fell 1.3% year on year basis and remained flat on a month on month basis. In 2019, the ex factory price of industrial producers decreased by 0.3% over the previous year, and the purchase price of industrial producers decreased by 0.7%.
Among the changes in the prices of industrial producers on a year-on-year basis, the prices of means of production decreased by 1.2% on a year-on-year basis, 1.3 percentage points lower than that of the previous month, which affected the overall level of the prices of industrial producers by about 0.87 percentage points. Among them, the price of mining industry increased by 2.6%, the price of raw material industry decreased by 2.6%, and the price of processing industry decreased by 0.9%. The price of living materials rose by 1.3% year on year, 0.3% lower than that of last month, affecting the overall level of factory price of industrial producers to rise by about 0.34%. Among them, the price of food rose by 5.0%, the price of clothing fell by 0.1%, the price of general daily necessities rose by 0.1%, and the price of durable consumer goods fell by 2.4%. Among the purchase prices of industrial producers, the price of agricultural and sideline products increased by 6.6%, the price of building materials and non-metallic materials increased by 2.8%, the price of ferrous materials increased by 0.9%; the price of chemical raw materials decreased by 7.4%, the price of fuel and power decreased by 3.3%, and the price of non-ferrous materials and wires decreased by 1.9%.
Changes of industrial producer prices on a month on month basis among the ex factory prices of industrial producers, the prices of means of production were flat on a month on month basis. Among them, the prices of mining industry and processing industry both rose by 0.1%, and the prices of raw materials industry were flat. The price of living materials fell 0.2% month on month. Among them, the price of food and durable consumer goods decreased by 0.3%, the price of clothing decreased by 0.2%, and the price of general daily necessities decreased by 0.1%. Among the purchase prices of industrial producers, the prices of building materials and non-metallic materials increased by 1.1%, the prices of ferrous materials and fuel power increased by 0.2%, the prices of agricultural and sideline products decreased by 0.6%, and the prices of non-ferrous materials and wires remained the same.
