East China coke market opens the fourth round of price rise
In recent days, the coke market in East China has been growing steadily and the stock of main steel mills in Shandong Province has been falling steadily. Some steel mills in Jiangsu province need to look for goods from other coke enterprises due to the shutdown of a coke enterprise in Xuzhou and the decline of arrival. In terms of coke enterprises, after the first three rounds of increase in coke prices, the profitability of coke enterprises has been significantly improved. Today, the ex factory prices of metallurgical coke of the coke production enterprises in Zibo, Weifang, Binzhou, Dezhou, Linyi, Liaocheng, Jining, Zaozhuang, Heze, Rizhao, Tai'an and other places in Shandong Province have all increased by 50 CNY/ton on the basis of the original prices. At present, the mainstream price of coke in East China is reported as 1890-1920 CNY/ton for secondary wet quenching, 2000-2020 CNY/ton for quasi primary wet quenching and 2130-2200 CNY/ton for quasi primary dry quenching, all of which are ex factory tax inclusive. At present, the closure of the canal is still being dredged. As Jianbi and Mangdao gates are being repaired, the closure time of Shaobo, Shiqiao and Huai'an gates is about 12 days. As the steel plant has arranged the delivery in advance, the arrival of goods is stable and the inventory is normal. It is expected that the closure situation can be basically solved before this year. The coke price in East China has a short-term support, but the rise is a little weak. It is expected that the coke price will continue to maintain stable operation before the festival and pay attention to the change of market supply and demand in the later period.
