Customs: implement tax reduction policy, reduce tax by 363.5 billion yuan
"In 2019, the national customs strengthened comprehensive tax control and scientific tax collection, continuously improved tax quality and efficiency, collected tax of RMB 1870.1 billion in the whole year, completed the tax budget goal, and resolutely implemented the national tax reduction policy, with tax reduction of RMB 363.5 billion in the whole year." Ni Yuefeng, director of the General Administration of customs and Secretary of the Party committee, said at the national customs working conference held on the 16th. According to the introduction, in 2019, the national customs practically took the prohibition of foreign garbage entry as a landmark measure of ecological civilization construction, organized three rounds of "blue sky 2019" special action and two rounds of full coverage special inspection, and foreign garbage smuggling was effectively curbed; the reform of "releasing management service" continued to deepen, and has completed the negotiation or signing of mutual recognition arrangement with 12 national AEOs, with a total of 42 countries (regions) mutually recognized , ranking first in the world. In terms of optimizing the port business environment, the overall customs clearance time of import and export goods in 2019 was 62.3% and 78.6% shorter than that in 2017. Two import and export food safety certificates withdrew from the port inspection, and 118 automatic import licenses for mechanical and electrical products were cancelled. The basic service function of "single window" in international trade has been expanded to 598, the application rate of main declaration business is 100%, and the service charge of import and export business has been significantly reduced. According to the world bank business environment report, China's cross-border trade facilitation ranked 56th in the world, up 9 places.
