According to the recently released information of Fair Trading Commission of large-scale enterprise groups published by Korea Economic Research Institute, the above conclusions are drawn after analyzing the number of employees of 30 major group subsidiaries with more than 300 employees in 2013-2018. regular employees, basic staff and so on are all included. According to statistics, the number of employees in the top 30 enterprises increased by 34291 in one year, 58914 in three years and 93838 in five years. The results show that CJ olive networks has the largest increase in the number of employees in the past three to five years, with an increase of 6790 employees in the past three years and 9626 employees in the past five years. After CJ olive networks, Starbucks Coffee South Korea, LG Chemical, Hyundai Automobile, CJ freshway and other enterprises have also entered the top. According to the analysis of 30 enterprises with a large increase in the number of employees in the past five years by industry classification, manufacturing industry accounts for the largest proportion, accounting for 35.2%, followed by wholesale and retail industry 24.2%, accommodation and catering industry 17.9%. As a leader, LG life health has increased 498 employees in the past year. LG life health employees increased from 4415 in 2017 to 4913 in 2018. The number of employees in cosmetics related retail enterprises is also increasing obviously, including 2178 in e-commerce, 1984 in Lotte Hotel, 1617 in GS retail, etc. the number of employees has increased significantly in the past five years. In recent one year, CJ ENM has 1576 employees and modern department store has 544 employees.
