ECHEMI 2020-02-24

The novel coronavirus infection and joint prevention and control mechanism was held in February 11th. The heads of the national development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of human resources and social security, the Ministry of transport, and the national health and Health Commission introduced how to effectively strengthen the scientific prevention and control of the epidemic, and how to do a good job in the resumption of work and production in an orderly manner, and answered questions from reporters. At the meeting, Cong Liang, member of the Party group and Secretary General of the national development and Reform Commission, introduced that at present, from the perspective of the national situation, all provinces (districts and cities) except North Lake are gradually returning to work, especially key medical materials, energy, grain, transportation and logistics enterprises in key fields have been started in succession. According to the latest data of 22 key provinces in China on February 10, the resumption rate of mask enterprises has exceeded 76%, that of protective clothing enterprises is 77%, that of grain production and processing enterprises under national key monitoring is 94.6%, that of coal mines is 57.8%, that of electric power, natural gas and oil products is sufficient, and that of civil aviation, railway and water transportation networks are operating normally. However, Cong Liang also said that to promote the full resumption of work and production, there are still problems such as insufficient rework personnel, limited commencement in some places, serious shortage of anti epidemic materials such as masks, non matching upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, poor transportation and logistics, and large capital pressure.
