The world's largest coal chemical project under construction was completed and put into operation in China
On September 16, the first phase of the world's largest coal chemical project under construction, Shaanxi Coal Group's Yulin Chemical Company's coal separation and utilization of new chemical materials demonstration project (Yulin Chemical Project), in which China Energy Construction Northwest Institute is deeply involved in the EPC mode, was officially completed and put into operation.
Yulin Chemical Project is the world's largest coal chemical project under construction, with a planned total investment of about 125 billion RMB and an annual conversion of about 24 million tons of coal, which is the coal conversion demonstration project with the strongest coal processing capacity, the highest degree of industrial integration, the most complex technology integration and the closest industrial chain to the end market, representing the highest level of China's coal chemical industry.
NWI is mainly engaged in the core power and transportation sub-projects of the 1.8 million tons/year ethylene glycol project in the first phase of the Yulin Chemical Project, namely the power station unit and coal storage and transportation unit. The power station unit includes five 670 tons/hour coal-fired boilers and four 50 MW back-pressure generator sets, which are responsible for providing steam and electricity for normal production to meet the operation of the chemical plant.
The coal storage and transportation unit includes two dumpers, two round coal yards, eight transfer stations, a two-kilometer-long coal transfer trestle, and three coal transfer belts, which are responsible for transporting fuel coal and raw material coal for the three units of gasification, pyrolysis and power station of the whole plant, with an annual capacity of 7.6 million tons.
