Huntsman and Como expand cooperation
Huntsman textile dyeing and Chemical Co., Ltd. recently announced that it will establish a long-term alliance with comer to expand cooperation in the field of DWR. Jay Naidu, vice president of strategic marketing and planning of Huntsman textile dyeing and Chemical Co., Ltd., said that the expansion of cooperation between the two companies aims to combine their advantages in product innovation, technical support and marketing, and give full play to the potential of developing and producing new sustainable DWR chemicals and solutions. According to reports, the two sides formed an alliance in the early 1990s, and the long-term anti water splashing cutting-edge technology developed by them is well-known in the textile industry. In addition to fluorination solutions, the two sides can provide non fluorination alternatives after expanding cooperation. The cooperation will cover many aspects of the value chain, including R & D, marketing, technical support and manufacturing. Jay Naidu stressed that strengthening the partnership can combine the two strengths to build a sustainable and durable future of water splash prevention technology and products, expand the future cooperation relationship, and consolidate the leading position of both sides in the field of DWR textile solutions. Jesal Chopra, vice president of fluoropolymer, said that it is the commitment of Como to take the lead in innovation and development of more sustainable and better performance products to keep up with the rapidly changing needs of the textile industry and consumers.
