China's Polyester Capacity Adjustment
Since 1st December 2017, China's polyester capacity is adjusted to 48 million mt/year after Siyang Haixin started a 250kta unit and Yijing started phase II 250 kta unit. If Hengyi High Polymer reached full capacity before the end of December, end-2017 polyester capacity will be 48.35 million mt/yr.
Note: China's polyester capacity is adjusted at the beginning of every month. New capacity will be added at the beginning of every month and idle capacity will be deleted at the beginning of the year.
