The recovery rate of coal mines is 97% in Henan and 85.6% in Inner Mongolia
Henan is an important coal producing province in China and one of the 14 large coal bases planned by the state. In April 1st, novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic prevention and control topic in Henan province was held in Zhengzhou on the forty-fifth press conference. At the meeting, Shen Tianliang, a member of the Party group and deputy director of the Provincial Department of industry and information technology, answered questions from reporters about the overall progress of the resumption of coal mines in our province. Shen Tianliang said that Henan is an important coal producing province in China and one of the 14 large coal bases planned by the state. The annual production capacity of raw coal is 158 million tons, with an average annual production of about 110 million tons in recent years, ranking the eighth in the country. At present, there are 155 coal mines with conditions for resumption of production in the whole province, 130 coal mines have been resumed, 21 coal mines have been resumed, and the rate of resumption of production reaches 97%.
In the first quarter, the coal enterprises of the whole province produced 25.6 million tons of raw coal, which was basically the same as that of the same period last year. The normal production mines realized that they should be used up again and again, and there was no safety production accident. The production and supply were stable and orderly. They actively played the role of "ballast stone" in energy security, providing a guarantee for the coal demand of economic development during the epidemic in our province. In the first quarter, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has resumed normal production and construction of 286 coal mines, with a return rate of 85.6%. There were no production safety accidents in coal mines in the region, with a year-on-year decrease of 3 people. Inner Mongolia Coal Mine Safety Supervision Bureau has carried out supervision for 214 times, investigated and dealt with 558 hidden dangers (including 17 major hidden dangers) and 133 administrative penalties, which effectively guaranteed the stable and good situation of coal mine safety production in the whole region.
During this period, in order to do a good job in epidemic prevention and control and coal mine safety production, Inner Mongolia Coal Mine Safety Supervision Bureau and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Energy Bureau jointly took action. Members of the leading group of the two bureaus led five inspection teams to five key coal producing areas, including Chifeng City, Wuhai City, Ordos City, Hulunbuir city and Xilingol League, to conduct key supervision and inspection on the prevention and control of the epidemic situation and the resumption of production of coal mining enterprises, the full coverage special supervision of "one pass, Three Preventions", and the activities of "learning laws and regulations, grasping implementation and strengthening management". The inspection team went deep into the underground line, mainly inspected 9 coal mining enterprises and 11 coal mines, investigated and dealt with 68 potential safety hazards, including 2 major potential hazards, and the maximum administrative fine for a single mine was 3.27 million yuan, forming a powerful deterrent to illegal enterprises and effectively ensuring the safe production of coal mines during the epidemic.
