It is used for trauma or surgical bleeding in organs rich in plasminogen activators such as the prostate, urethra, lungs, brain, uterus, adrenal glands, and thyroid glands. 3. It is used as an antagonist of tissue plasminogen activator (t-PA), streptokinase, and urokinase. 4. It is used for fibrinolytic bleeding caused by artificial abortion, early placental abruption, stillbirth, and amniotic fluid embolism, as well as menorrhagia caused by pathological local increased fibrinolysis in the uterine cavity. 5. It is used for mild bleeding in central nervous system diseases, such as subarachnoid hemorrhage and intracranial aneurysm bleeding.
