Endometrial hyperplasia is also called precancerous lesions. It has a certain tendency to become cancerous. Endometrial hyperplasia is a reversible lesion and may develop into cancer. The vast majority of endometrial hyperplasia is a reversible lesion or maintains a persistent benign state. Only a few cases may develop into cancer after a long time interval. There are three types of endometrial hyperplasia: simple hyperplasia, complex hyperplasia and atypical hyperplasia.
