Tinea versicolor
Generally, there are no subjective symptoms, but there may be itching when working, sun exposure or sweating. It is more common in men, and it is hidden in winter and appears in summer. The rash is prone to occur in areas with sebaceous glands, such as the trunk, neck, upper arms, abdomen and face, and can also affect the buttocks, armpits and groin. The skin lesions are round or quasi-round macules the size of millet, soybean or broad bean, with strong reflectivity and covered with very thin bran-like scales. In most patients, the skin lesions are diffuse and symmetrical, with macules level or raised with the skin and clear boundaries.
