Bronchogenic cyst
Bronchogenic cysts are rare. The cause is not very clear. It may be related to the control of embryonic development. During embryonic development, the respiratory epithelium separates from the tracheobronchial tree and migrates from the site of bronchial development to other sites. Cysts are usually located under the skin and can occasionally drain to the outside of the skin through sinus tracts. Surgical excision is the only way to treat it.
