Bartholin's gland cancer
Cancers of the Bartholins gland are rare. More than 50% of primary carcinomas of the Bartholins gland are adenocarcinomas, and squamous cell carcinomas account for about 30%. Bartholins gland carcinomas account for 2% to 7% of all vulvar malignancies. They are more common in elderly women and less common in young patients. The age of onset is usually 10 years younger than that of vulvar squamous cell carcinoma, and the peak age of onset is 50 to 60 years old.
