Oils, curcuma Use and Manufacturing
The dried root tuber of Curcuma longa (Curcuma longa) is obtained by solvent extraction. According to FAO/WHO regulations (1992), solvents are limited to acetone, methylene chloride, 1, 2-dichloroethane, methanol, ethanol, isopropanol, and light gasoline (hexane). The yield is 15%-20%.
It is a traditional folk food coloring agent in my country. It is often used for coloring the outer skin of longan. It can also be used for flavoring and coloring of foods such as curry powder and yellow salted radish. Turmeric tastes hard and warm, and can promote blood circulation, qi, menstruation, analgesia, lower blood fat, cure angina pectoris, stomach pain and gallstones, and more protect the liver. It can be used for all kinds of beverages, prepared wine, popsicles, candy, pastries, color cans, seasoning cans, green plums, red and green silk. It can be used in an appropriate amount according to production needs; it can also be used in pickles, bread and pastries, the maximum amount is 0.01g/kg.
Drug Function and Efficacy
It has a direct inhibitory effect on respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and a direct inactivation effect on influenza virus A1 and A3. It has no local irritation and hemolysis in vivo. The LD50 of intravenous injection in mice is 122.14±41.44mg/kg; the LD50 of oral gavage in mice is 147.0g/kg; the LD50 of intramuscular injection is 55g/kg; the maximum tolerance and minimum lethal dose in mice are 48 and 49g/kg respectively. No accumulation effect is observed after six consecutive days of medication.
