Hallux valgus
Big toe is a deformity in which the big toe tilts outwards more than 15 degrees from the physiological angle. Thick skin and bursa are easily formed on the outside of the protruding bone, causing permanent deformation of the toe and pain. It is a complex anatomical deformity and is extremely challenging to treat. It is more common in middle-aged and elderly women, and most often occurs in people with genetic predispositions and long-term wearing of inappropriate shoes, which puts abnormal pressure on the big toe.
