Vulvar intraepidermal neoplasia
Vulvar intraepithelial neoplasma (VIN) is a group of vulvar lesions that are precursors to vulvar cancer. VIN in young patients often regresses spontaneously, but in young patients over 60 years old or with immunosuppression, it may turn into invasive cancer. The lesions manifest as epidermal hyperplasia, with thickened patches of skin, nipples, or small warts; the surface may be grayish white, melaninized, or dark red, and the tumor surface is dry and scaly, with unclear boundaries. Tumor lesions can often be multiple and can fuse with each other.
