Bed-wetting
Enuresis is commonly known as bedwetting, which usually refers to involuntary urination in children while they are asleep. Generally, only 20% of children have enuresis by the age of 4, and 5% have enuresis by the age of 10. A few patients have enuresis symptoms into adulthood. Those without obvious organic lesions of the urinary tract or nervous system are called primary enuresis, accounting for about 70% to 80%. Those secondary to lower urinary tract obstruction (such as urethral valves), cystitis, neurogenic bladder (urination dysfunction caused by neuropathy) and other diseases are called secondary enuresis. In addition to bedwetting at night, children often have symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency or difficulty urinating, and thin urine flow during the day.
