There are many patients with chronic bronchitis among the elderly. In the cold winter, patients often suffer from temporary loss of consciousness and fall due to severe coughing. Because it occurs when coughing or expectorating, Chinese medicine calls it "phlegm syncope". Phlegm syncope is one of the syncope syndromes.
