Keratosis follicularis et parafollicularis in cutem penetrans, also known as hyperkeratosis follicularis et parafollicularis in cutem penetrans, heperkeratosis penetrans, and hyperkeratosis follicularis et parafollicularis, is a rare disease first described by Kyrle in 1916. It is characterized by cone-shaped keratotic papules and nodules formed by follicular or non-follicular skin hyperkeratosis, pits can be seen after keratin peeling, and it often occurs on the limbs.
