Ingredients

The main ingredient of this product is isotretinoin, also known as 13-cis retinoic acid. Its chemical name is: 3,7-dimethyl-9-{2,6,6-trimethyl-1-cyclohexene-1-yl}2-cis-4-trans-6-trans-8-trans-nonatetraenoic acid. Its structural formula is: molecular formula C20H28O2, molecular weight 300.44.

Usage and Dosage

For topical use, apply appropriate amount to the affected area, once every night before going to bed.

Adverse Reactions

Precautions

1 Pregnant women are prohibited from using this product. 2 Patients with acute or subacute dermatitis or eczema are prohibited from using this product.

Special Population Medication

Precautions for children: Its safety for children is not yet known. Oral isotretinoin overdose can cause changes in bone structure, including premature fusion of epiphyseal discs in children. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: 1. There is currently insufficient evidence to prove the safety of topical application of this product during pregnancy. When administered systemically, isotretinoin can cause malformations in human embryos, but results of reproductive experiments on rats showed that topical application of isotretinoin gel at a dose that is 60 times that of humans did not harm the mouse embryo. Therefore, it is recommended not to use this drug during pregnancy. 2. The percutaneous absorption of isotretinoin in this gel is negligible, and it is not clear whether isotretinoin can be secreted into breast milk, so do not use this drug during lactation. Precautions for the elderly: It is contraindicated for those with impaired liver and kidney function.

Drug Interactions

1. There is a risk of increased photosensitivity when used with photosensitizing drugs. 2. When used with soap and other detergents, desquamation preparations (such as benzoyl peroxide, raclonidine, salicylic acid, sulfur, etc.), ethanol preparations, isotretinoin, etc., it may aggravate skin irritation or dryness, so it must be used with caution. 3. If you are using other drugs, you should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this product.
