This product belongs to the macrolide antibiotics, which is the dodecyl sulfate of erythromycin propionate. It has antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus, various groups of streptococci and Gram-positive bacilli. Neisseria, Haemophilus influenzae, Bordetella pertussis, etc. may also be sensitive to this product.
