Proglumide
This product is a gastrin receptor antagonist, which can significantly inhibit the secretion of gastric acid and pepsin caused by gastrin, but has no obvious effect on the gastric acid secretion caused by histamine and vagus nerve stimulation. It can increase the content of hexosamine in the gastric mucosa, promote glycoprotein synthesis, protect the gastric mucosa and promote healing, improve the symptoms of peptic ulcer and promote ulcer healing. The use of this product to treat peptic ulcer and gastritis does not cause rebound of gastric acid secretion, and gastric acid secretion can remain at a normal level for up to half a year after the treatment is terminated. In addition, this product has a choleretic effect, which prevents stone formation by stimulating bile acid-independent bile secretion, changing the stone-forming factors in bile, and antagonizing CCK.

Tetracycline hydrochloride
This product is a broad-spectrum antibacterial agent, with bactericidal effect at high concentrations. It has certain antibacterial effects on Streptococcus pneumoniae, hemolytic Streptococcus, Streptococcus viridans and some Staphylococci, Clostridium perfringens, Bacillus anthracis, Yersinia pestis, Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Clostridium tetani, Brucella, Haemophilus influenzae, Campylobacter, Vibrio cholerae, and also has inhibitory effects on Rickettsia, Mycoplasma, Chlamydia, Spirochete, and some protozoa. This product is better than Gram-positive bacteria in effect on Gram-negative bacteria, but Enterococcus is resistant to it. Others such as Actinomyces, Bacillus anthracis, Listeria monocytogenes, Clostridium, Nocardia, etc. are also sensitive to this product. This product has certain antibacterial activity against Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Neisseria meningitidis, but penicillin-resistant gonococci are also resistant to tetracycline. This product has no antibacterial activity against Pseudomonas aeruginosa. It has a certain antibacterial effect on some anaerobic bacteria, but it is far inferior to metronidazole, clindamycin and chloramphenicol, so it is not used clinically. The mechanism of action of this product is that the drug can specifically bind to the A position of the bacterial ribosome 30S subunit, preventing the connection of aminoacyl-tRNA at this position, thereby inhibiting the growth of peptide linkages and affecting the synthesis of bacterial proteins.

Sulfamethoxazole
It is a sulfonamide antibiotic. When used in combination with trimethoprim, it can double block bacterial folate metabolism and enhance the synergistic antibacterial effect, especially the antibacterial effect on Escherichia coli, Haemophilus influenzae, and Staphylococcus aureus is significantly enhanced compared with a single drug.
