Thymopentin for injection

This product is an immunomodulator. It has the function of regulating and enhancing the cellular immune function of the human body. It can promote the maturation of T lymphocytes in the peripheral blood after mitogen activation, increase the secretion of various lymphokines (such as a, g interferon, interleukin 2 and interleukin 3) after T cells are activated by various antigens or mitogens, and increase the level of lymphokine receptors on T cells. It also enhances lymphocyte response by activating T4 helper cells. In addition, this product may affect the chemotaxis of NK precursor cells, which become more cytotoxic after exposure to interferon. Therefore, this product has the function of regulating and enhancing the cellular immune function of the human body.

Each bottle contains 1 mg of thymopentin for injection and 19 mg of mannitol.

This product is suitable for: malignant tumor patients with low immune function caused by radiotherapy and chemotherapy. (1) For patients with chronic hepatitis B over 18 years old. (2) Various primary or secondary T cell deficiency diseases (such as congenital immunodeficiency in children). (3) Certain autoimmune diseases (such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, etc.). (Lupus erythematosus is an autoimmune disease with a slow onset and insidious occurrence. The clinical manifestations are diverse and varied. It is an autoimmune disease involving many systems and organs. Due to the dysfunction of cellular and humoral immune function, a variety of autoantibodies are produced. It can affect the skin, serous membranes, joints, kidneys and central nervous system, etc., and is characterized by autoimmunity. There are multiple autoantibodies in the patient's body, which not only affect humoral immunity, but also cellular immunity, and the complement system also changes. The pathogenesis is mainly due to the formation of immune complexes. The exact cause is unknown. The condition is a process of repeated attacks and remissions.) (4) Various diseases with low cellular immune function. (5) Adjuvant treatment of tumors.

For intramuscular injection, dissolve in 1ml of sterile water for injection before use; or dissolve in 250ml of 0.9% sodium chloride injection and drip slowly intravenously. 1 vial at a time, 1-2 vials per day, 15-30 days as a course of treatment, or follow the doctor's advice.

(1) Good tolerance, with some patients experiencing adverse reactions such as nausea, fever, dizziness, chest tightness, and weakness. A few patients may occasionally experience drowsiness. It is contraindicated for those who have allergic reactions to this product or those who have undergone organ transplantation.

Precautions during pregnancy and lactation: 1. Animal fertility studies have shown that there is no difference in abnormal effects on embryos between the control group and the drug treatment group. It is not yet known whether this drug is harmful to the embryo or affects fertility. Therefore, it can only be used in pregnant women when it is absolutely necessary. Although it has not been confirmed that it is excreted through human milk, it should still be used with caution in lactating women. 2. It can be used in combination with many commonly used drugs, including interferon, anti-inflammatory drugs, antibiotics, hormones, analgesics, antihypertensive drugs, diuretics, drugs for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, central nervous system drugs, and contraceptives, without any interference. 3. When used in combination with interferon, it has a synergistic effect on improving immune function. 4. When used in combination with antibiotics, it can enhance the antibacterial effect. 5. When used in combination with chemotherapy drugs, it can reduce the toxic side effects of chemotherapy.
