Dopamine Capsules

Function and Efficacy

This product is a compound preparation, containing levodopa and benserazide. Benserazide is a peripheral decarboxylase inhibitor, which is not easy to enter the central nervous system. It only inhibits the conversion of peripheral levodopa into dopamine, increasing the content of levodopa in the circulation by 5-10 times, and thus the amount of levodopa entering the central nervous system also increases. Levodopa is converted into dopamine by dopa decarboxylase in the brain to exert its pharmacological effects and improve the symptoms of Parkinson's disease. The combination of benserazide and levodopa can not only reduce the adverse reactions of levodopa in the peripheral cardiovascular system, but also reduce the dosage of levodopa.
