Quaternary ammonium anticholinergics can selectively act on the digestive tract, inhibit gastric juice secretion and regulate gastrointestinal motility. They can quickly relieve spasms, suppress acid, and relieve pain after taking them. They also have a stronger anti-salivation effect than atropine, but have no central anticholinergic activity.

Indication
Used for gastric, duodenal ulcers and chronic gastritis, etc.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration, 1-2 mg at a time, 3-4 times a day, after meals and before bedtime; maintenance dose: 1 mg at a time, 2 times a day.
Adverse Reactions
Dry mouth (bitter taste) may occur in the early stage of taking the medicine, which will be alleviated or disappear after 1 to 2 weeks.
Precautions
It is not recommended for patients with pyloric obstruction, glaucoma, and prostatic hypertrophy.
