Racemic Anisodamine Hydrochloride Injection
Function and Efficacy
It has a peripheral anti-M cholinergic receptor effect, can relieve smooth muscle spasms caused by acetylcholine, can also relieve microvascular spasms, improve microcirculation, relax gastrointestinal smooth muscle, and inhibit its peristalsis. Its effect is slightly weaker than that of atropine, and its effect of inhibiting the secretion of digestive glands is 1/10 of that of atropine. Its effect of inhibiting saliva secretion and dilating the pupil is weaker, which is 1/20-1/10 of that of atropine. Because it is not easy to pass through the blood-cerebrospinal fluid barrier, its central effect is also weaker than that of atropine.

Drug Interactions
1. When used in combination with amantadine, phenothiazines, tricyclic antidepressants, primidone, procainamide and other anticholinergic drugs, adverse reactions may increase. 2. When used in combination with monoamine oxidase preparations (including furazolidone and procarbazine), the side effects of antimuscarinic drugs may be enhanced. 3. It can weaken gastrointestinal motility and delay gastric emptying, affecting some drugs, such as erythromycin staying in the stomach for too long, reducing the efficacy, delaying the absorption of acetaminophen, and increasing the absorption of digoxin, nitrofurantoin and other drugs.
