Appearance

This product is a red sustained-release coated tablet, which appears white after removing the coating.

Indication

As a monotherapy or in combination with levodopa, it is used to treat Parkinson's disease, improve pathological cognitive and sensory neurological dysfunction in elderly patients, such as decreased attention and/or memory, vertigo. Painful symptoms of arterial lesions (painful cramps when walking). Ophthalmological disorders of circulatory origin.

Usage and Dosage

1. Parkinson's disease: 150-250 mg per day, divided into 3-5 times. 2. Combined with levodopa: 50-150 mg per day, divided into 1-3 times. 3. Other indications: 50 mg per day, taken after the main meal. 4. Severe cases: 100 mg per day, divided into 2 times.

Adverse Reactions

The following symptoms may occur: 1. Mild gastrointestinal discomfort (nausea, vomiting, flatulence), which may disappear after individualized dosage adjustment. 2. There have been reports of drowsiness after taking piribedil. In very few individuals, excessive drowsiness and sudden falling asleep during the day have occurred. 3. Blood pressure disorders (orthostatic hypotension) or unstable blood pressure are very rare. 5. Because it contains carmine, it may cause allergic reactions. Precautions

This drug is contraindicated in the following cases: 1. Allergic to any ingredient in this product. 2. Cardiovascular shock. 3. Acute myocardial infarction. 4. Combined medication: antiemetic neuroleptics, tranquilizers (excluding clozapine) (except Parkinson's patients).

Drug Interactions
