Function and Efficacy
1. Pharmacological action This product is a topical recombinant human epidermal growth factor (rh-EGF) derivative. rh-EGF can promote the regeneration of corneal epithelial cells, thereby shortening the healing time of damaged cornea. Clinical results show that this product can accelerate the healing of corneal wounds. 2. Toxicological studies (1) Genetic toxicity The results of the Ames test, CHL chromosome aberration test, and mouse bone marrow cell micronucleus test of rh-EGF derivatives were all negative. (2) Reproductive toxicity Mice were intraperitoneally injected with 2.5.5 mg/kg of rh-EGF derivatives for 5 consecutive days. The epididymis was taken for examination 28 days after the drug administration, and no obvious changes in sperm morphology were found. SD rats were intramuscularly injected with 500 and 1000 μg/kg of rh-EGF derivatives on days 6-15 after pregnancy, and no obvious effects were observed on the mother mice and fetuses. (3) Carcinogenicity research literature suggests that EGF has the effect of promoting the growth of certain tumor cells, but some animal and in vitro research literature also suggests that EGF, as a cytokine with multiple functions, can inhibit the growth of certain tumor cells.

Indication
Jinyin Comfort is used for corneal epithelial defects caused by various reasons, including mechanical damage to the cornea, mild dry eye with shallow punctate keratopathy after various corneal surgeries, mild chemical burns, etc.
Usage and Dosage
Directly drop Jinyinshu into the conjunctival sac of the eye - 1 drop per day or as directed by your doctor
Adverse Reactions
No local irritation or systemic adverse reactions were observed.
Precautions
It is contraindicated for patients with a history of allergy to natural and recombinant hEGF, glycerol, and mannitol.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: Not yet clear. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: hEGF is contained in the milk of lactating mothers and the tears, saliva, and urine of infants. It is not clear whether topical use of rh-EGF in the eyes has potential harm to the fetus and infants. Precautions for the elderly: Not yet clear.
Drug Interactions
No synergistic or antagonistic effects were found with other drugs.
