Sodium Fructose Diphosphate Injection

This product is an intermediate product of sugar metabolism in the body. It produces pharmacological effects by regulating the activity of several enzymes in sugar metabolism. Exogenous fructose 1,6-diphosphate can increase the concentration of intracellular adenosine triphosphate and creatine phosphate, promote potassium ion influx, increase the content of diphosphoglycerate in red blood cells, inhibit the release of oxygen free radicals and histamine, and other pharmacological effects. It can reduce the damage caused by ischemia and hypoxia, especially for ischemic heart disease. Acute toxicity tests show that the lethal dose of FDP in experimental mice and experimental rabbits is 5.0g/kg and 5.8g/kg respectively when intravenously infused at a rate of 0.4 and 0.6g/kg/min. Acute toxicity seems to be related to the toxicity caused by the large amount of inorganic phosphorus entering the systemic circulation after the hydrolysis of large doses of FDP. FDP was infused into experimental dogs and experimental rabbits at a dose of 100 and 200mg/kg for 30 days, and no morphological and functional pathological changes were found. Pregnant rabbits were infused with FDP at doses of 100 and 200 mg/kg from 6 to 18 days after mating. The fetuses were examined 30 days after conception and no teratogenicity was found. No pathological changes were found in the mother rabbits.

Pain at the infusion site, rash, numbness of the lips, occasional dizziness, chest tightness, and allergic reactions

This product is contraindicated in patients with allergies, hyperphosphatemia, or renal failure.
