Lisinopril Tablets
Function and Efficacy
This product is a third-generation angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor, which can inhibit the activity of angiotensin converting enzyme, reduce the concentration of angiotensin II and aldosterone, increase plasma renin activity, lead to peripheral vasodilation and decreased vascular resistance, and thus produce a hypotensive effect. The hypotensive effect occurs within about 2 hours after oral administration, and the maximum hypotensive effect occurs about 4 to 6 hours after oral administration, which is consistent with the peak time of blood drug concentration (tmax). The hypotensive effect lasts for 24 hours, and there will be no blood pressure rebound after stopping the drug, and there is no significant change in heart rate after taking the drug.

Precautions for children: The safety and effectiveness of this product have not been established in children. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: 1. Pregnant women should not use this product in the first three months of pregnancy. When planning pregnancy or confirming pregnancy, switch to other alternative treatments as soon as possible. Controlled trials of ACE inhibitors have not been conducted in humans, but toxic exposure in the first three months of pregnancy with a limited number of cases did not show the teratogenic effects on humans described below. This product is contraindicated in the middle and late stages of pregnancy. Continuous exposure to ACE inhibitors in the second and third trimesters of pregnancy can cause teratogenic effects in humans (reduced renal function, oligohydramnios, incomplete skull ossification) and neonatal toxicity (renal failure, hypotension, hyperkalemia (see preclinical safety data). If exposure to this product is required in the second trimester of pregnancy, ultrasound examination of renal function and skull is recommended. Infants born to mothers taking lisinopril should be closely observed for hypotension, oliguria and hyperkalemia. Lisinopril can cross the placenta and be cleared from the blood of newborns by peritoneal dialysis, which has shown some clinical efficacy. In theory, lisinopril can be cleared from the body by exchange transfusion. 2. Use in lactating women It is not known whether this drug is secreted in human milk, but since many drugs are secreted in human milk, lactating women should use it with caution. Elderly precautions: Please refer to the [Usage and Dosage] section
