Appearance
White, off-white or slightly yellow suspension granules with sweet taste.
Indication
1. Seasonal allergic rhinitis, perennial allergic rhinitis. 2. Acute and chronic urticaria, etc.
Usage and Dosage
Oral: Adults and patients under 12 years old, 60 mg once, twice a day; children 6 to 12 years old, 30 mg once, twice a day, or as directed by a doctor.
Adverse Reactions
1. Cardiovascular system: Severe adverse reactions rarely occur: such as ventricular tachyarrhythmia, hypotension, syncope, prolonged QT interval, and even cardiac arrest and death. According to foreign literature reports, the following adverse reactions are rare. Such as: ventricular arrhythmia, torsades de pointes, ventricular tachycardia, ventricular fibrillation, cardiac arrest, hypotension, atrial flutter, syncope, dizziness, prolonged QTc period, etc. Most of the above reactions are caused by drug interactions. 2. Central nervous system: such as drowsiness, headache, fatigue, dizziness, nervousness, weakness, etc. 3. Gastrointestinal system: such as stomach discomfort, nausea, vomiting, increased appetite, and changes in bowel habits.
Precautions
1. Patients who are allergic to this product are prohibited from using it. 2. It is contraindicated to use it in combination with triazole antifungal drugs (such as ketoconazole, itraconazole, etc.), certain macrolide antibiotics (such as clarithromycin, erythromycin, oleandomycin, etc.) and other drugs that seriously damage liver function. 3. Patients with obvious liver damage are prohibited from using it. 4. Patients with organic heart disease are prohibited from using it, especially those with atrioventricular conduction block and congenital long QT syndrome. 5. It is contraindicated to take it in excess.
Drug Interactions
It is contraindicated to be used in combination with certain azole antifungal drugs (such as ketoconazole, itraconazole, etc.), certain macrolide antibiotics (such as clarithromycin, erythromycin, oleandomycin, etc.) and other drugs that seriously damage liver function.
