This product can reduce the patient's tolerance to alcohol, and alcohol may also enhance the hypoglycemic effect of the drug.

When aluminum hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide are taken 2 hours before or at the same time as strontium ranelate, the absorption of strontium ranelate is slightly reduced (AUC is reduced by 20-25%), but when antacids are taken 2 hours after strontium ranelate, the absorption is almost unaffected, so it is best to take antacids 2 hours after taking strontium ranelate. However, when the recommended dosing method is not feasible due to the recommendation to take strontium ranelate before bedtime, taking it at the same time is still acceptable.
