Cerebroprotein Hydrolysate Injection

Function and Efficacy

This product is a brain-specific peptide neurotrophic drug that can act on the central nervous system in a variety of ways, regulate and improve neuronal metabolism, promote synapse formation, induce neuronal differentiation and further protect nerve cells from various ischemic and neurotoxic damage.

Ingredients

This product is a sterile preparation extracted, separated and refined from pig brain tissue. It contains about 16 kinds of free amino acids and a small amount of peptides.

Appearance

This product is a light yellow clear liquid.

Indication

Used to improve symptoms of craniocerebral trauma, sequelae of cerebrovascular disease accompanied by memory loss and attention disorder.

Usage and Dosage

It is best to inject continuously for each course of treatment. The length of the course and dosage should be determined by referring to the patient's age and condition. The subcutaneous injection should not exceed 2ml, the intramuscular injection should not exceed 5ml, and the intravenous injection should not exceed 10ml. In addition, it is recommended to use 10-30ml of this product diluted in 250ml of normal saline for slow dripping, which takes about 60-120 minutes to drip. Each course of treatment uses 10-20 drug drips, depending on the condition. In severe cases, especially those with insufficient compensation of cerebrovascular function, 10-30ml of this product can be diluted in 250ml of normal saline for dripping. If the drug is administered every day, 10-20 drug drips are used for each course of treatment. This drug can be used in combination with dextran (such as dextran 40), vitamins and any required cardiovascular drugs. In mild cases or after high-dose medication, in order to maintain the efficacy, it can be injected intravenously (or intramuscularly), once a day at the beginning, 5ml each time, for 10-20 times in a row, and then 2-3 times a week. It can be repeated for several courses until the clinical manifestations no longer improve.

Adverse Reactions

This product is generally well tolerated. In vivo and in vitro tests and toxicology tests have shown no potential teratogenic, sensitizing or carcinogenic effects. Injection too quickly may cause a mild sense of heat, and in very rare cases, chills and mild fever may occur, which are mostly related to the patient's physical reaction. So far, no persistent adverse reactions or life-threatening cases have been found after medication. When used in large doses, injection too quickly may cause fever in a few cases.

Precautions

1. Those who are allergic to any component of this drug. 2. Epileptic state. 3. Patients with grand mal seizures, during which medication may increase the frequency of seizures. 4. Patients with severe renal impairment. 5. Pregnant women.

Drug Interactions

1. Protein hydrolysate injection cannot be infused in the same bottle as amino acid injection. When amino acid infusion is used at the same time, attention should be paid to the possible imbalance of amino acids. 2. Co-treatment with antidepressants may cause adverse interactions and lead to inappropriate mental stress. In this case, it is recommended to reduce the dose of antidepressants.

Storage
