1. It has a liver-protecting effect. It can reduce the activities of alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) in mice with acute liver damage caused by carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) or D-galactosamine; it can reduce the activities of ALT and AST in rats with chronic liver damage caused by CCl4, increase the liver hydroxyproline content, reduce the serum total protein and albumin content, and reduce the albumin/globulin ratio. This product has a protective effect on liver necrosis caused by CCl4 and thioacetamide, and can improve the degree of liver damage. 2. It has an immune-enhancing effect. It can significantly improve the phagocytic ability of peritoneal macrophages. 3. It has an antiviral effect. It has an inhibitory effect on hepatitis viruses and a variety of bacteria, and can also enhance the excretion of bacterial toxins.
