Compound Ibuprofen Gel

This product is a compound preparation for external use composed of ibuprofen and menthol, in which ibuprofen is an aromatic propionic acid non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, which may produce analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects mainly by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins; according to literature reports, menthol has weak local anesthetic and vasodilatory effects.

This product is a compound preparation, each gram containing the main ingredients 50 mg of ibuprofen and 30 mg of menthol.

This product is an almost colorless, transparent, thick liquid.

It is used to relieve local pain such as muscle pain, joint pain, pain and swelling caused by strains, sprains and sports injuries. It can also be used for the symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis.

Apply the gel to the affected area and massage gently until it is completely absorbed. Apply 1-4 cm (containing 50-125 mg of ibuprofen) each time and repeat if necessary. Use up to 3 times a day, with no less than 4 hours between each application. Do not exceed the prescribed dose.

When applying the product, occasional skin itching, redness, rash, etc. may occur, which generally do not affect the use. Some patients may experience dizziness and mild gastrointestinal discomfort, which are generally tolerable and disappear after stopping the medication.

This product is contraindicated in patients who are allergic to ibuprofen or aspirin, asthmatics who are known to experience asthma attacks caused by aspirin or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, patients with rhinitis or urticaria, or those who are allergic to any of the ingredients in this product.

Precautions for children: This product can be used for adults, the elderly and children over 12 years old. It is not recommended for children under 12 years old. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Pregnant and lactating women are prohibited. Precautions for the elderly: Use the medicine according to the doctor's advice.

Concomitant use of aspirin or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NASAIDS) may increase the risk of side effects.
