Function and Efficacy

This product is a long-acting non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. It can inhibit the activity of cyclooxygenase and reduce the synthesis of prostaglandins. Animal experiments show that the anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of this product are weaker than indomethacin, but stronger than aspirin.

Appearance

This product is white or off-white tablets.

Indication

It is mainly used for rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatic arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, ankylosing spondylitis, etc., and can also be used for other painful diseases.

Usage and Dosage

The usual oral dose for adults is 0.6g per day, taken once or twice. The total daily dose for adults should not exceed 1.0g. The usual dose for children has not yet been established.

Adverse Reactions

The adverse reactions of this product are mainly gastrointestinal reactions, manifested as stomach pain, burning sensation in the stomach, nausea, and a few serious adverse reactions include gastric ulcer, bleeding, and even perforation. Dizziness, rash, mild decrease in white blood cell count, and mild increase in serum transferase are less common.

Precautions

1. Patients who are allergic to this product are prohibited from using it. 2. Patients with peptic ulcer, severe liver and kidney damage, and aspirin-induced asthma are prohibited from using it.
