This prescription has antitussive and expectorant effects. Peony, schisandra, and asarum in the prescription can be used as expectorants; pinellia, dried ginger, and asarum can expel retained water in the trachea; licorice not only has a central antitussive effect, but also plays an antitussive role by improving pulmonary circulation and correcting intracellular dehydration. This prescription also has anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic and cooling effects.

Ephedra, cinnamon twig, white peony root, dried ginger, asarum, pinellia, schisandra, and roasted licorice.

This product is a brown to brown-black liquid with a slight fragrance and a sweet and slightly spicy taste.

Take with boiled water. 6g each time (without sucrose), 3 times a day.
