Suitable for patients who need long-term continuous anticoagulation: It can prevent the formation and development of blood clots and is used to treat thromboembolic diseases; it can treat venous thrombosis after surgery or trauma, and can be used as an auxiliary medication for myocardial infarction; it can be used as a preventive medication for patients who have had thromboembolic diseases and those who are at risk of postoperative thrombotic complications.

Oral administration, the usual dose for adults: avoid shock treatment and take 3 to 4 mg orally on the 1st to 3rd day (half the dose is enough for the elderly, frail and diabetic patients). After 3 days, a maintenance dose of 2.5 to 5mg per day can be given (the dose can be adjusted according to the coagulation time to achieve an inr value of 2 to 3). Due to the slow onset of action of this product, a temporary hypercoagulable state may exist due to the inhibition of plasma anticoagulant protein cells in the first 3 days of treatment. If an immediate anticoagulant effect is required, heparin can be applied at the same time at the beginning, and heparin can be stopped after this product has fully exerted its anticoagulant effect.

Overdose can easily cause various bleeding. Early manifestations include ecchymosis, purpura, gingival bleeding, epistaxis, prolonged wound bleeding, and excessive menstrual flow. Bleeding can occur in any part, especially the urinary and digestive tracts. Intestinal wall hematoma can cause subacute intestinal obstruction, and subdural intracranial hematoma and puncture site hematoma can also be seen. Occasional adverse reactions include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, itchy rash, allergic reactions and skin necrosis. Large amounts of oral administration may even cause bilateral breast necrosis, microangiopathy or hemolytic anemia, and extensive skin gangrene; excessive doses at one time are especially dangerous.

It is contraindicated in patients with liver and kidney damage, severe hypertension, coagulation disorder with bleeding tendency, active ulcer, trauma, threatened abortion, and recent surgery. It is contraindicated during pregnancy. It should be used with caution in the elderly or during menstruation.
