Function and Efficacy
The berberine hydrochloride (berberine) in this product has only a weak antibacterial effect on most bacteria, but it is effective for intestinal infections caused by Shigella dysenteriae and Escherichia coli; costus root can promote qi and relieve pain, regulate the middle and remove stagnation; Evodia rutaecarpa has the effects of dispelling cold and relieving pain, promoting yang and stopping diarrhea.
Ingredients
This product is a compound preparation, each tablet contains 50 mg of berberine hydrochloride, 312.5 mg of costusroot, and 125 mg of evodia rutaecarpa. The auxiliary materials are starch, dextrin, sucrose, and magnesium stearate.

Appearance
This product is a sugar-coated tablet, which appears brown-yellow after removing the sugar coating; it has a fragrant smell and a bitter taste.
Indication
Used to treat intestinal infections and diarrhea.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration: Adults, 2 tablets at a time, 3 times a day.
Adverse Reactions
Nausea, vomiting, rash, and drug fever may occur occasionally and disappear after drug discontinuation.
Precautions
It is contraindicated in patients with hemolytic anemia.
