Function and Efficacy
The main drug in the prescription, Danshen, contains effective ingredients such as tanshinone and danshensu, and has many pharmacological effects. Experiments have shown that it can dilate coronary arteries, increase coronary blood flow, and has the effect of resisting myocardial ischemia and infarction, dilating peripheral blood vessels and lowering blood pressure; it can significantly improve microcirculation, increase blood flow, enhance hypoxia tolerance, and also has sedative and analgesic effects. Panax notoginseng contains effective ingredients such as notoginseng saponins and flavonoids, which can dilate coronary arteries, reduce coronary resistance, increase coronary flow, reduce arterial pressure, myocardial oxygen consumption and myocardial oxygen extraction rate, promote coagulation, shorten coagulation time, and has a good hemostatic effect. However, this product also has a significant anticoagulant effect, can inhibit platelet function, and promote fibrinolysis.
