Function and Efficacy

The active ingredient of licorice extract, glycyrrhizic acid, has antitussive and expectorant effects, and also has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects; the active ingredient of opium powder, morphine, inhibits the medullary cough center, causing the cough reflex to disappear, and has an antitussive effect; camphor and star anise oil stimulate bronchial mucus secretion, making sputum thinner and easier to cough up; sodium benzoate is a preservative. The above ingredients form a compound preparation with a synergistic effect of antitussive and expectorant.

Ingredients

This product is a compound preparation, and its components are: each tablet contains 112.5mg of licorice extract powder, 4mg of opium powder, 2mg of camphor, 2mg of star anise oil, and 2mg of sodium benzoate. The excipients are: mannitol, β-cyclodextrin, aspartame, polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP), talc, menthol, peppermint oil, and ethanol.

Indication

Usage and Dosage
