Compound Amino Acid Injection (18AA-Ⅱ)

This product can provide complete and balanced 18 essential and non-essential amino acids, including tyrosine and cystine, to meet the body's needs for protein synthesis and improve nitrogen balance.

Every 1000mL intravenous solution (8.5%) contains L-alanine 12.2g, L-arginine 8.4g, L-aspartic acid 2.5g, L-cystine 200mg, and L-glutamate.

This product is a colorless or slightly yellow clear liquid.

For patients who cannot take nutrition orally or enterally, or whose nutrition cannot meet their needs, this product can be infused intravenously to meet the body's needs for protein synthesis.

Adults: Depending on the needs of the patient, 500-2000ml of this product can be infused every 24 hours; the maximum daily dose: 0.4g nitrogen/kg. The general dose is 0.15-0.2g nitrogen/kg per day. Newborns and children: Use as directed by the doctor. This product can be infused through the central vein or peripheral vein. The infusion rate should be slow when using this product. Generally, the appropriate infusion time for 1000ml of this product is at least 8 hours, about 30-40 drops per minute. This product and fat emulsion injection (such as Intralipid) can be mixed through a Y-type tube and then injected into the body. When the two infusions are injected into the vein through the same infusion tube, the osmotic pressure of this product can be reduced, thereby reducing thrombophlebitis that may occur through peripheral vein infusion. At the same time, each should be adjusted as needed.

Very few patients may experience nausea, facial flushing, and hyperhidrosis. Like all hypertonic solutions, it may cause thrombophlebitis when infused from a peripheral vein. When this product is infused too quickly or used in patients with liver and kidney dysfunction, it may cause hyperammonemia and elevated plasma urea nitrogen. Because it contains the antioxidant sodium pyrosulfite, it may occasionally induce allergic reactions (especially in asthmatic patients).

It is contraindicated for patients with hepatic coma, uremia who cannot undergo dialysis, and those who are allergic to this product.
