Cefathiamidine
Indication
It is mainly used for respiratory tract infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus, pneumococcus and streptococcus, biliary tract infections, urinary tract infections, gynecological infections, sepsis, pneumonia, meningitis and other infections.
Precautions
1. It is contraindicated for patients who are allergic to cephalosporins or penicillin. 2. It is contraindicated for patients who are allergic to trimethoprim. 3. It is contraindicated for newborns and premature infants. 4. It is contraindicated for patients with severe liver and kidney diseases. 5. It is contraindicated for patients with blood diseases.
