Compound Cefaclor Capsules
Function and Efficacy
This product is an antibacterial and expectorant. Cefaclor: It is relatively stable against beta-lactamase produced by Staphylococcus aureus, and therefore has a strong antibacterial effect on Gram-positive bacteria; its activity against penicillinase-producing Staphylococcus aureus, group A hemolytic streptococci, grass-green streptococci and Staphylococcus epidermidis is the same as that of cefoperaxillin, and its antibacterial effect against non-enzyme-producing Staphylococcus aureus and pneumococci is 2 to 4 times stronger than that of cefoperaxillin. Cefaclor is more active than cefoperaxillin against Gram-negative bacilli, including Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae, and is similar to cefoperaxillin. Cefaclor is more active than cefoperaxillin against Proteus mirabilis, Salmonella and Shigella. 2.9 to 8 mg/L of cefaclor can inhibit all influenza bacilli, including ampicillin-resistant strains. Moraxella catarrhalis and gonococci are sensitive to this product. Indole-positive Proteus, Serratia, Acinetobacter and Pseudomonas aeruginosa are all resistant to cefaclor. Bromhexine hydrochloride: It has a strong effect of dissolving mucus and can break down the polysaccharide cellulose in sputum and dilute the sputum. It inhibits the synthesis of glycoproteins by goblet cells and mucous glands to reduce sialic acid in sputum, reduce sputum viscosity, and facilitate discharge.

It has no effect on the MICS of fusidiformes and multi-branched fusidiformes. Clavulanic acid can also enhance the antibacterial activity of cefaclor against cefaclor-resistant Pneumococcus. ⑸ Bromohexine hydrochloride combined with tetracycline antibiotics can increase the antibacterial efficacy.
